The following quote by T.E. Lawrence provokes a needed discomfort in me.

“All men dream: But not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their mind wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, to make it possible.”

Unfortunately, most of my dreams have been vanity. In fact, i often find that even those lauded for their ‘dreaming’ don’t often get to the point of living those dreams in reality.

The dangerous challenge before us is to take the bold risk of dreaming with eyes open to see where the Dream is desperately needed, feet moving towards people who no longer dare to dream, and hands dirty with the real work of helping people piece their broken dreams together.

Welcome to ‘Peacing the Dream Together’!

This is my first attempt at transitioning from serial blog lurker to blog writer.

Essentially, this blog will document my (feeble) progress in fleshing out in my life what it means to ‘peace’ the dream together.

I’ll begin with a great quote from Radical Reformer, Menno Simons. It goes some way toward describing what it means to peace the world together…
